Importance of Macronutrients
There are 3 macronutrients. Each one is as important to the next and are very important for our health and to allow our bodies to function properly.
Here are some examples of each macronutrient:
- Carbs – bread, rice, pasta
- Protein – meat, fish, eggs
- Fats – Polyunsaturated examples – avocado, oils, nuts & seeds.
Each macronutrient has a specific role in the body and they each work in synergy together.
