What are 3 macronutrients?

Each one is as important to the next and are very important for our health to allow our bodies to function properly.

Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates are our bodies primary source of energy.

Protein: Protein is important to help our body grow and repair.

Fat: Fat helps our body digest and absorb vitamins.

  • Carbs – bread, rice, pasta
  • Protein – meat, fish, eggs
  • Fats – Polyunsaturated examples – avocado, oils, nuts & seeds.

Each macronutrient has a specific role in the body and they each work in synergy together.

Here at FITT Meals we understand the science and the health importance of including all 3 macronutrients in all of our dishes. To ensure that all our customers are getting the proper nutrition that they need.
