In FITT Meals, we pride ourselves in our sustainability efforts. We take sustainable-conscious measures to minimize our environmental footprint to be ethically responsible.
Fun fact! We're the first meal plan company in the UAE to the use eco-friendly packaging.
Our Sustainability Efforts
Meal Packaging
Our boxes that your meals are packed in are eco-friendly and sourced from UAE. It’s also FSC-certified!
Reusable Cooler Bags
We use resuable insulated cooler bags and ice packs when we deliver your meals instead of using disposable alternatives.
Delivery
We deliver 3 times a week instead of daily as we’re conscious of the petrol fumes of the van when delivering across the UAE.
Waste Recycling
Our wastage is collected by Dulsco who run a 360 degree Recycling Program ensuring our waste is segregated and repurposed.
Wastewater Recycling
Our wastewater is collected & treated, before the water is discharged to a body of water.
Drinking Water
We’ve newly introduced a water purifier filtration system meaning we don’t use plastic water bottles.
Leftover Food
We do our utmost to ensure there is no food wastage. We’re able to do so as we calculate each ingredient and purchase from suppliers the necessary amount.
Digital Documents
We use PandaDoc for all internal & external documents signage requirements to avoid printing.
Tablets
To avoid further paper wastage, we use tablets for customers orders instead of printing packing slips.
